GROUP LESSONS IN SCHOOLS

Overview

Currently available to students enrolled at Geraldton Grammar School. In this co-curricular program, children are removed from their regular class once a week to attend a 30 minute group lesson. Lesson times will be determined in consultation with teachers and faculty.

Ideal for bored kids (and their teachers!), music lessons give students opportunities to make new friends, learn new skills and channel their energy.

Overview

Our flagship program in classical piano & flute.

Students are enrolled in a 9-11 week program, with start and finish dates aligning with those of the WA state schools calendar. Lessons run from 30 to 60 minutes and are taught from a private studio in central Geraldton.

A comprehensive and tailored lesson plan will be developed for each student and adapted term by term based on their unique interests and progression.

- An opportunity for neuro-diverse kids and those with disabilities to engage with meaningful music education and receive one-on-one tuition.
- Formal recognition of competency can be organised with the Australian Music Examinations Board (A.M.E.B.) &/or Trinity College London; for students wishing to take their music to the next level, lessons will be geared toward preparation for theory exams, aural tests, instrumental performance recitals &/or portfolio entry into tertiary institutions such as the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA).

Pricing & Booking

From $380 per term

Each student will be expected to have their own instrument at home to practice on. Textbooks and other learning materials will be on-charged at cost and generally run from $0 - $250P.a. depending on the child’s level of interest and progression.

Parents & Guardians are encouraged to book a free Trial Lesson (Meet & Greet) before committing to the full program.
